Bandung (07/09) – PT Dirgantara Indonesia (Persero) (PTDI), through its Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program, also provided humanitarian aid to communities affected by the magnitude 7.7 earthquake that struck East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) on August 15, 2026. The aid was distributed on Saturday (05/09) through the Posko Peduli BUMN (State-Owned Enterprises Care Post) and handed over via Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN), to then be received directly by the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB).

The aid distributed consisted of various basic necessities such as food supplies, mineral water, instant food, and daily necessities needed by the communities affected by the disaster in NTT. This distribution of aid represents a form of PTDI's care in supporting communities in need, particularly during the emergency response and post-disaster recovery phases.

As part of the Defend ID Holding, this aid program was carried out through "Defend ID Peduli Bencana NTT" (Defend ID Cares for NTT Disaster). Under this program, PTDI collected donations from PTDI, PT Nusantara Turbin dan Propulsi (PT NTP), IPTN North America, Inc. (INA, Inc.), as well as PTDI employees. The donations collected were then distributed in a coordinated manner through the Posko Peduli BUMN so that they could be received and utilized by the affected communities.

Through the implementation of this TJSL program, PTDI is committed to continuing to carry out the Company's social role by providing benefits to communities and the environment. This concern is part of PTDI's contribution to supporting disaster response efforts and strengthening the spirit of mutual cooperation (gotong royong) in helping communities in need.

"Through the Defend ID Peduli Bencana NTT program, PTDI, together with PT NTP, INA, Inc., and PTDI employees, contributed to helping communities affected by the disaster in NTT. For us, care for the community is part of the implementation of PTDI's TJSL. We hope the aid distributed can provide benefits and help meet the needs of the community amid the conditions they are facing," said PTDI Corporate Secretary, Rommy Indah Jayanti.

"The Sikka Regency Government would like to thank PTDI for providing support in handling the earthquake disaster in Sikka Regency. Once again, we thank PTDI for the support provided. God bless," said BNPB Team representative, Femmy Bapa.

PTDI hopes that the aid distributed can provide benefits to communities affected by the disaster in NTT and become part of a joint effort to accelerate the recovery process and the handling of the disaster's impact.
